Christmas is the Time....to be with Loved Ones

This is probably the first Christmas in 10 years that our family celebrated the Holidays complete. Well, my oldest brother is MIA as usual so I scratched him off the family tree. Ha! Joking.

We planned a simple dinner for Noche Buena. Nothing fancy, cause as they say we are celebrating Christ's birth and spending this season of love and goodwill with loved ones. The menu was planned, tasks are given and everything was prepared for the best Christmas the Lazatin's will have yet. Dad is in charge of the kitchen. Mom is spared of responsibilities as she has colds. Rc (my older sister) is in charge of babysitting. Benito's (nephew) job is to be as annoying as he can get, which he does so perfectly. While Nico's (niece) task is to be her little cute self for a minute or two and then be snob most of the time. And our Yaya Angelina's (no pun intended) share of work is to be the messman or messwoman in her case. And lastly, I'm in charge of desert and overall arrangement.

The night passed by pretty normally, a few laughs here and there. Photos and videos taken especially of Benito's weird antics. And Katharine McPhee accompanying us on background with her soulful holiday music collection. I was planning on having a family portrait with everyone in barong and pina but then most of got drunk and all flustered so raincheck on New Years' Eve hopefully.

Christmas wish? As cheeesssy it may sound, more Christmas like this. :)
